About Us

Founded 1986
The purpose of this organization to provide a forum for an exchange of ideas of mutual interest, the promotion of our industry with people of Central New York, the education of our membership on topics of common concern, the creation of fellowship among our members, cooperative purchasing of materials, and business contacts among members for mutual benefit.

Membership Details
Membership in the Mohawk Valley Growers Association (MVGA) is open to all firms engaged in the ornamental horticulture business in the greater Utica-Rome-Mohawk Valley area who are producers or sellers of plant material. Membership dues are $20 per year. All members are encouraged to participate in our scheduled meetings: second Tuesday evening of January, March, September, November and the fourth evening in June. Actual meeting dates may vary based on circumstances.

What we do
Meetings feature a guest speaker bringing us information of mutual interest, an opportunity to socialize and get to know other growers, and share ideas. Meetings are held at an area restaurant, Cooperative Extension facility, or at a member's business facility. Members are encouraged to participate in our various activities.
